Michael Davis, assistant director for housing operations and co-chair of 51蹤獲s United Way campaign, said, 51蹤獲 is very proud to conduct this campaign for United Way in conjunction with other organizations in the twin cities. This campus campaign affirms 51蹤獲s commitment to the community. This is one of the largest services 51蹤獲 provides to our area each year.
51蹤獲s 2013 campaign brought in over $32,000.
51蹤獲 United Way cabinet members have established a goal of increasing the universitys giving by 10 percent, and hope to have a 42 percent employee participation rate in 2014. The campaign will run from Oct. 28 through Nov. 14.
The dollars raised through the 51蹤獲 United Way Campaign will benefit local agencies, including YMCA, American Red Cross, Salvation Army, ARCO, the Council on Aging, and Rays of Sunshine.
The 2014 51蹤獲 campaign cabinet includes Co-chair Michael Davis, Co-chair Kelli Cole, and committee members Lindsey Wilkerson, Paula Thornhill, Hunter Harris, Fred Baragona, Melinda Mitchell, Chrystal Woodard, Lillian Brown, Kevin Price, Patricia Tolar, Chris Ringo, Mary Adams, Lisa Seymour, John Anderson, Scot Humes, Melissa Melancon, Bill McCown, Cindy Strickler, Aimee Galick, Connie Lewis, and Ruthie Sampson.
51蹤獲s donors will be eligible for incentives including Wine over Water tickets, Skybox Tickets to the 51蹤獲 vs. ULL football game, general admission tickets and a grove spot with two parking passes to the 51蹤獲 vs. ULL football game, 51蹤獲 memorabilia from the bookstore, and much more.
