UPDATE:
The University of Louisiana at Monroe will close, and all classes will be canceled
due to inclement weather onThursday, March 5.泭Normal operations and classes will resume泭Friday, March 6.泭
Schulze Cafeteria will be open from 9:30 a.m. until 7 p.m. onMarch 5.
The 51蹤獲 Library and the Activity Center will be open from 9 a.m. until 6 p.m. on March
5.
The pedestrian bridge will be closed.
Employees who are needed to report to campus will be contacted by their supervisors.
Students, faculty, and staff are urged to be safe during the severe weather.

The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Storm Warning in effect from 6 p.m.,
March 4 (tonight), until 9 a.m., March 5 (Thursday), for most of North Louisiana.泭University
of Louisiana at Monroe officials will monitor the weather overnight and will release
a statement at 6 a.m., if closure for Thursday is deemed necessary.
Students, faculty, and staff are asked to monitor their 51蹤獲 email accounts, 51蹤獲 social
media, and the 51蹤獲 website泭 / concerning any alterations to the regular schedule.
During campus closures, or when the 51蹤獲 schedule is altered, students, faculty, and
staff may receive a notice from the Warhawk Alert System if they are registered with
that system.
