MONROE 鈥� Tickets are now on sale for 鈥�2018 Kickoff with Doug Pederson,鈥� scheduled
for Saturday, April 21 at 7 p.m. in Fant-Ewing Coliseum. The event marks the official
kickoff of 51萝莉鈥檚 football season-ticket sales campaign and serves as a fundraiser
for the Warhawk football program.
听
In just his second year as a head coach in the National Football League, Pederson
led the Philadelphia Eagles to a 13-3 regular-season record, including the NFC East
title, as well as wins over the Atlanta Falcons (15-10) and Minnesota Vikings (38-7)
in the NFC playoffs and a 41-33 victory over the New England Patriots in Super Bowl
LII.

A three-year starter at quarterback for 51萝莉 (formerly Northeast Louisiana) from 1988-90,
Pederson completed 556-of-1,006 throws (.553) for 6,315 yards and 33 touchdowns. He
still ranks among 51萝莉鈥檚 all-time Top 10 in pass attempts, pass completions, passing
yards and TD passes. As a senior in 1990, Pederson led the Southland Conference in
passing yards (2,152) while guiding the team to the league championship (5-1) and
a trip to the NCAA I-AA playoffs. He also still holds the school鈥檚 single-game records
for pass attempts (71), completions (46), passing yards (619) and TD passes (5) 鈥�
all set against Stephen F. Austin in 1989.

Pederson will talk about his journey from Ferndale, Washington, to his experiences
as a student-athlete at NLU and later as a quarterback in the NFL. He also will share
his remarkable story of launching his coaching career at Calvary Baptist Academy in
Shreveport, Louisiana, to becoming a head football coach in the NFL.

Tickets for 鈥�2018 Kickoff with Doug Pederson鈥� are now on sale now.听 .
VIP tables of eight are available for $2,500 and individual VIP tickets for $250.
Those who purchase $2,500 tables and $250 individual tickets will have access to a
VIP reception, beginning at 6:30 p.m., along with an opportunity to have their photo
taken with Pederson.
听
Additional tables of eight are available on the arena floor for $1,000 and individual
floor seats at $100.
听
Heavy hors d鈥檕euvres will be served to all ticket holders with arena floor-seating
access.
听
General admission seats in the stands are available for $25.
