SGA online spring elections to occur April 8 – 9

The Student Government Association at 51ÂÜÀò will conduct its online spring elections April 8 – 9 from 8 a.m. – 6 p.m.

Voting will occur for senators and officers; for sophomore, junior and senior class president; and concerning the 51ÂÜÀò Water Ski Team referendum.

Those elected will serve the 51ÂÜÀò student body through the following campus initiatives: advocacy for the students to the 51ÂÜÀò administration, 51ÂÜÀò PREP, Browse on the Bayou, Homecoming, all campus elections: SGA, CAB, and referendums, Christmas at 51ÂÜÀò, the Presidential Lyceum Series, the Mardi Gras Ball, all campus political forums sponsored by the SGA, and through Student Involvement Scholarships.
