鈥淏at Boy: The Musical鈥 is a cult hit based on tabloid stories in a National Enquirer-style paper about a child with needle teeth and Spock ears who supposedly was discovered in a cave in West Virginia in 1992.

In the stage version, a friendly family takes in the demonic-looking, half-breed and tries to teach him to live in civilized society, only to discover that West Virginia isn鈥檛 quite as civilized as they hoped.

The show鈥檚 producers describe it as 鈥淭he Rocky Horror Picture Show鈥 meets 鈥淢y Fair Lady.鈥
