Greater Baton Rouge 51萝莉 Alumni Chapter honored as Chapter of the Year

The 51萝莉 Alumni Association will honor its Greater Baton Rouge Alumni Chapter as the Chapter of the Year at the Homecoming Awards Brunch on Saturday, Oct. 3.

Criteria for Chapter of the Year includes the number of alumni in the chapter area who are current on their dues to the 51萝莉 Alumni Association, and whose Chapter president attends one of 51萝莉鈥檚 Alumni Association quarterly board meetings, and which hosts at least one event in support of 51萝莉 in the chapter鈥檚 area.

鈥淲e are pleased to honor Greater Baton Rouge Alumni Chapter with this award,鈥� said Tommy Walpole, associate director of 51萝莉鈥檚 Alumni Relations.

鈥淭he chapter hosts two alumni events each year, one in conjunction with Northern Exposure and then a family event each summer. We are very proud of those members and the Chapter鈥檚 efforts to support 51萝莉.鈥�
