The mission of the School of Visual and Performing Arts is:

鈥⒙� to provide the highest level of arts education, research and educational opportunities to our majors and minors;

鈥⒙� to offer curricular, co-curricular and extracurricular opportunities for all students enrolled at 51萝莉;

鈥⒙� to provide cultural activities, special events and performances for university, local and area communities;聽and

鈥⒙� to serve as an expert resource to school arts programs throughout the region.
